By accessing the RVA Weather Network (the "Site") or subscribing to the RVA Weather Brief newsletter, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

Forecasts, observations, trends, and other weather content on the Site are provided for general informational purposes only, on a best-effort basis, and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. The Site is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a substitute for the National Weather Service.

During severe or dangerous weather, always rely on official sources — the National Weather Service, local emergency management, and broadcast media — for warnings and life-safety decisions. Never use this Site as your only source during an emergency.

• Weather observations, event listings, comments, and other content you submit remain yours, but you grant the RVA Weather Network a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, publish, and distribute them on the Site, in the newsletter, and on our social channels.
• You confirm you have the right to share anything you submit, including photos you upload. Don't post another person's content without permission.
• We review and moderate submissions. We may edit, hide, or remove anything that is inaccurate, off-topic, spam, abusive, dangerous, or unlawful, at our sole discretion.

Don't misuse the Site: no scraping at scale, no automated abuse, no impersonating other people, no attempts to breach security, spam forms, or manipulate votes, reactions, or engagement counters. We may rate-limit or block access that threatens the Site's operation.

The RVA Weather Brief is free. Subscribing requires a valid email address you control. We may pause or end the newsletter at any time. Unsubscribe at any time using the link in every issue.

The RVA Weather Network name, logo, original written content, and site design are the property of the RVA Weather Network. Third-party data and imagery (such as radar or government weather data) remain the property of their respective sources and are used where permitted.

The Site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the RVA Weather Network is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or its content, including decisions made based on weather information.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States.

We may update these Terms from time to time; the date above shows the current version. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
